Real life got busy and I haven't done anything else on this. I'm still trying to figure out how to intercept a keystroke in the screen saver. It looks like the core intercepts the keystroke and never passes it to the STV.
Anyway, hopefully this weekend I will be able to look at it some more.

No rush (my real life, er, kids, interrupts my plans constantly)... we've lived with it, as it is, for this long! I just appreciate that people are still working on tweaks to make Sage better. Features like the music and photos have always been overlooked (me being probably one of the few who use them frequently and actually care
 )

Server: AMD Athlon II x4 635 2.9GHz, 8 Gb RAM, Win 10 x64, Java 8, Gigabit network Drives: Several TB of internal SATA and external USB drives, no NAS or RAID or such... Software: SageTV v9x64, stock STV with ADM. Tuners: 4 tuners via (2) HDHomeruns (100% OTA, DIY antennas in the attic). Clients: Several HD300s, HD200s, even an old HD100, all on wired LAN. Latest firmware for each.
