The two requested files are attached. I had to rename the opendct.log to .txt in order to upload. And I had to zip the wrapper file because it was too large to upload.

I also have some opendct-crash logs in that folder that date back to around the time I started having problems. But the last one was generated on the 19th, and it is still not working. I've attached the latest crash log, too, in case it is useful.

Thanks again!

You are getting Java errors ... are you running 2 versions or Java ? 32 bit and 64 bit ... OPENDCT 64 Bit requires 64 bit Java and you should be using SageTV 64 bit ... unless your system is 32 bit.

What version of Java are you using.?

Version 8 update 331 (build 1.8.0_331-b09)

Although my system is x64 based, I have always used the x86 version of SageTV and OpenDCT. When I installed Java, I thought I selected the X86 version. The attached photo is what the Java configuration app shows on my system.

Why do you have 2 Java entries ? .. It looks like you also have the 64 BIT Java Installed and that is the first entry so that will be used first.

Tiki explained what 2 Javas will do ...

I'm not sure why there are two. I did try disabling the one that also says x64 and rebooted. No luck.

They are both the same version, so I assume they installed at the same time. They are in different locations. A screenshot of the paths is attached.

You have both both 64 bit and 32 bit installed. If you are using 32 bit OPENDCT and 32 Bit SageTV you should uninstall 64 bit.... Why you are using 32 bit Sagetv and Opendct I do not know as you are limited to Java Heap size... but you might have your reasons ... but that is your problem 2 Javas.

C:\Program Files = 64 bit
C:\Program Files (x86) = 32 bit

You were right. That was it. I had tried deselecting "Enable" for the 64 bit vesion in Java previously and that didn't work. So I didn't think that was the problem. But after what you said, I uninstalled the 64 bit version and all is working again.

Thanks to you, and thanks to Tiki for pointing this out originally. Had I focused more on his suggestion, I would have solved it a lot quicker. But thankfully you helped me get there in the end.

I've been using SageTV since before 64 bit existed, and just never transitioned over. Maybe now it's time. I'm going to enjoy everything working correctly again for a while, though, before I start monkeying with things again.

Again, thank you SO much for your help.
