**Creating the DB9 to RJ6 Adapter**

Here is the layout in creating your own Modular 4P4C adaptor, this is if you have the RCA direcTV reciever and your Low Speed Port is the RJ6. All you need is a RJ6 handset cable from your phone, its very similar to the phone wire u plug in your wall, but smaller, and a femal serial cable and use the digram below. Good Luck!

Phone --> Female DB9 Serial Cable
*Black : pin2
*Yellow : pin3
*Red+Green : pin5

...if you just took an ordinary serial cable from like a serial mouse, then you might need this diagram:

(i.e.:so the black wire from the telephone will connect to the brown wire from the serial cable, the yellow wire from the telephone will connect to the red wire from the serial cable, and the red+green wires will both connect to the yellow wire from the serial cable)

DB9 Pin : Wire Color
1 : Black
2 : Brown
3 : Red
4 : Orange
5 : Yellow
6 : Green
7 : Blue
8 : Violet
9 : Gray

***GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN, AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!***
