Maybe it was a typo? It looks like the first line is the ConvertX + SageTV bundle, while the 2nd line is the ConvertX by itself.

I'm sure that's just a typo. It should be 402U, not 404U.

If Sage isn't going to bundle a remote, should I buy the Streamzap remote or wait for the Plextor remote? Seems like Streamzap would be the right choice, since it already works with Sage.. unless the Plextor remote will be equally supported.

It's a great device to add to your current setup to record all your movies for archive directly in MPEG-4 or DivX.

Oh and I almost forgot...we don't charge you extra to use multiple tuners with SageTV so the only additional cost is for the hardware.
Please release support for this hardware on sage recorder as well

I use the Streamzap remote with the client and like the response time the most- compared to even the USB UIRT based control that I do for the server and Hauppauge remote. On the same note- a lot of people are not too happy with the software that comes with the remote- and so recommend using Girder in case you want more controls/button mappings etc. Sage community.org has some recommendations on the remote too if you are interested.
