In Graphedit, I was able using my Nero decoders to get VMR9 to work. In my case, I think the issue is the SageDeMux, because when I use the Nero Digital Splitter filter, VMR9 works, but when I use the SageDeMux, the video is blank.

Also, VMR9 works when I play .mp4 files in Sage Imported Videos. I'll try some other video formats, but mpeg-2 definitely does not work.

The thing is, I don't think the imported videos use your audio/video settings, at least I don't think non-mpeg2 ones do. So imported .mp4s are probably using VMR7/Default.

I have just checked out whether the Nvidia decoders work any better for me in Sage version 2.2.1. I have to say that my frame drops seem to be gone!! I was getting what appeared to be frames dropping every 5 to 10 seconds. I have just watched a 30min program and didn't see any frames drop. This can only be good news!
