Actually, I think the v2i stuff was in the last version of PowerQuest's Drive Image too & I never had a problem with that program. At least, I believe that last version of DI was all PowerQuest's work, but maybe I'm not remembering correctly. (?)

Yeah, I tried (IIRC) Drive Image 8 ( or maybe 2003/4 something) which was the first that had the V2I protector. I know I had a really bad experience with it. I can't remember specifics any more, but for some reason I think it bogged my system down badly. Then I did a little research and found out PQ had been bought by Symantec and dropped all my PQ stuff like a hot pan.
