Yes mine still does this too. I thought it was just forgotten about, thought maybe I was doing something wrong. But yeah I basically just haven't been burning DVDs in Sage either, waiting for the outcome of this.

Unless you've registered the DVDBurner app via paypal ($25) it will be limited to trial mode.

I did, a long long time ago

Was not aware you were giving keys out yet. I would have asked weeks ago. Have not been able to burn for several weeks now

pciccone Phil Ciccone $50.00 1/5 & 1/7 & 1/11/05

I got VIP status a long time ago as well and never received a key. Actually, is it a key or is it an updated ComDetect program?

Honestly, I can't remember if I had it working once or not since I hadn't usedit in a really long time. But I tried it yesterday and got the trial version error.

Apparently there's some issue with proving you've donated. Is this what you mean Carlos, donating with the link in your sig, or is there an actual link we need to follow to actually register teh DVD burner? And what happened to the above folks' registrations? Will I still have to register DVD decryptor on top of that? Questions, questions.......

DVD Decryptor is a freeware program and doesn't need to be registered.

The DVDBurner is seperate from the STV and isn't covered by the VIP donations. I had went over all this early on when deciding the course of action would be to keep the STV free (donations get you betas) and external programs would have a small charge.

Phil, you are correct, I owe you a key for the DVD Burner.

Sorry I meant VideoReDo. And my guess is yes, I will have to register that on top of the 25 for DVD burner. I think VidReDo was like 50 bucks right? That's 75 bucks to burn DVDs if so.

I'm sorry, I missed that. I will go back through this thread. My mistake. But thanks for covering it again all the same.

If you're using VideoReDo then yes. If you're using one of the other programs then no.

VideoReDo is well worth the money regardless as it's an invaluable tool. I couldn't get by without it.

So $25 more for DVDBurner key? Does that just cover this program or all small programs in the future?

That would be the DVD Burner application only. External programs that are small and easy in nature lwill be free. It's only the programs that have taken substantial time in development.

Here is a new build of the DVDBurner Application. The only changes were in parts of the activation process. I also extended the trial date to 3/15/05 so if you want to play with it as a registered user till then, go for it.

The ZIP file only contains a new exe which you will want to extract into the DVDBurner directory overtop of the old one.
Attached Files
File Type: zip DVDBurner1.2Upgrade.zip (107.1 KB, 181 views)

Yup, me too. Exactly same "disposed object" problem....
BUT, mine is in the module1.compress function (vs yours in the resetdirectory function).

Either way, same issue.... I was able to burn 1 DVD. The 2nd time this is what happened, been that way ever since.

Carlo, any advice?

Thanks.

Same Problem - "cannot access a disposed object"

I'm having this problem with version 1.1, and 1.0. It has never worked for me.
