UIRT controlling Dish
I'm switching from cable to Dish. So I need to control a set top box. I have a UIRT I've been using with Girder. Now that I need to have it xmit and rcv do i need to drop girder and have sage control the UIRT directly?

thank you for the quick reply. I understood the benefit of girder is that you can control sage even if it doesn't have focus. If I stop using girder and let sage control the UIRT do I then have to insure Sage has focus to receive IR msgs?

With Sage controlling the UIRT, it does not need focus to process the IR commands from the remote.
