FM Radio support?

I searched around a little bit (no hits on 'FM' and a TON of hits on 'radio') but cant find any info if Sage supports radio. Has anyone tryed this or gotten a way to record radio? I want to record a few shows through the day and if I could say record channel 100.7 from 0700 to 0730 I would love that.

Then make the recorded show a MP3 in the Sage music library... drool

No, SageTV does not have radio support currently. I have no idea when or if it will.

I would think this would be a great feature for Sage. I would love it if Sage had a local program guide for radio like the TV listings...and stored the recordings as mp3s. Not sure how many others would like this..but it would really be an inovative feature over programs like Beyond.

I'm sure with all Frey is working on I'm just dreaming.

I need to ask my friend what he is using but I know he records FM with his PVR and burns the MP3s to CD. I know he is not using Sage, but not sure what is is using. I was just hoping I was missing something that Sage had, or planned to add

that's too bad, because the hauppauge pvr-350 has a built in fm radio tuner.

I was just about to ask if the pvr-350 is supported.

On a different note, MCE does support some fm tuners

I just want it for background music from my HTPC.

I too would like local radio support integrated into Sage.

Thumbs down

I wouldn't hold my breath for radio inclusion. Perhaps it could be done via the Network Encoder project.

BTW, I haven't mentioned it yet today, but Sage cannot play audio CDs either.
