Titles or Names for Recorded TV shows

I am a Windows User, using version 2.0 on a Sony Windows Media Center OS.

I am noticing that when I record certian shows, I get more information on some shows than on others.

For exmaple:

When I record Lost or Point Pleasant, it shows the title of the episode and then a 5 digit number. For other shows like Saturday Night Live and Punk'd, it doesn't show anything, just the number.

Is there anywhay to get more information regarding the show that was just recorded either before or after you make the recording?

Only the shows that have episode titles have them put into the filename with the show title, if this property is set: use_episodes_in_filenames=true. (Should still be active; I haven't tried it lately.) If there is no episode title (Saturday Night Live), there is nothing to put in the filename other than the show title.

SageTV displays the info it has about the show on the detailed into screen for it. If there is no episode title shown for a show, it isn't in the EPG data.

How come when Sage records an episode of a show twice, it puts different information at the end?

Example:
JudgingAmy-SpoiltheChild-4788048-0.mpg

JudgingAmy-SpoiltheChild-4769105-0.mpg

This is not a two part episode by the way.

Is the end numbers suppose to be the episode number? If not, what is it and how can I have it capture the Episode # instead?

The last number is some sort of airing ID that SageTV uses to match the recording with a particular airing in the EPG so it knows what that recording it is. I think it is unique to each system. You can't change it to the episode number or anything else.
