SageMC: little question about recording

Just a little question (sorry to open a new thread for it).

I have one channel in my program guide that does not contain guide information. Is it possible to set a manual recording for that channel with the SageMC plugin. For instance by setting the begin and end time manually?

I don't think so. I should have put an option to bring up the existing STV functionality for this. You are the first to notice it missing.

Another little question:

I noticed that if I record a show and set the end time to be, say, an hour after the scheduled end of the show (something I do with most any sports program), the show length bar won't reflect the true length that was recorded. So, if I recorded a ball game that was scheduled to run 3 hours, I really recorded 4 hours. But, the bar still shows it as a three hour show and once you get past that 3 hours, you can no longer see the position. It still plays fine, just a little something that has always bugged me a bit. I've never noticed if the default SageTV interface does this or not, I've always used SageMC.

The default one does that too, it also starts at the scheduled time, not when the recording started.

Am I the only one having this 'problem' ? Is there no one who has the simular problem with, for example, a video-input which is used for recording?

Mlbdude, I know you have stopped with supporting SageMC and that Watter also stopped with it, but has already someone volenteerd to take over the SageMC development to which I can address this one?

(sorry for my bad English)

The problem is the number of people with Studio that have the time to work on STV's is shrinking.

These customization really show off the power of SageTV, and hopefully Frey will release Studio to the public soon, before all customization stops.

I looked for manual recordings one day, and couldn't find it. Its so seldom I would want a manual recording I didn't even think to mention it. But now that I don't have it maybe someone can work on it...
