easy question - compress the hard drive?

Just added a new 250 gig hard drive to my box (which is also my desktop pc) to use for Sage videos.

I have formatted it with a cluster size of 64k, as recommended.

I am assuming it would be silly to compress the drive, as mpeg files are pretty compressed as it is, so I'd just be adding overhead of compression/decompression without any benefit.

Anyone care to confirm or deny my thoughts?

Thanks,

Tom S.
