SendMessage for Closed Caption?
Does a SendMessage code exist for turning on closed captioning? I'd like to integrate it into my Girder remote GML so that I could mute the sound and turn captions on at the same time.
I am using a PVR-250.

The built-in CC, as described at the end of manual, does not have a command assigned to turning it on/off. There is a toggle command for DVD subtitles, though. I don't remember whether the cusotm STVs assigned any of the 5 custom comamnds to CC on/off.
I think the CC option is always the 2nd to last item in the pop-up Options menu during playback, so you could consider sending a sequence of commands that would open the Options menu, go up twice, then select the button. - Andy
