How to get the fast forward buttons to work on Firefly

Hello,

I am using a firefly remote and Girder to control my sage box. I downloaded the gml file for girder and the firefly which is contained on this site. The problem is that after mapping buttons to functions that seemed logical to me, I am unable to use the Fast Forward or Rewind buttons while viewing recorded TV. I can hit the buttons above these which skip ahead 30 seconds and back like 3 or 4, but no fast forward/rewind. Which functions in girder gml file should I map to make this work??

Unless you are running the continuos FF/RW import by neilm there is no real ff/rw in sage. With neilm's plugin the skip forward/skip back buttons become multi speed ff/rw.

REally, that seems like a weird feature for Sage not to include. Where can I get neilms plugin, and can it work with Cayars17? Thanks again in advance!

You have to use Neilm's version of cayars v17 since the original has imports disabled. That can be found in the same thread.

Ok thanks for the help. I have this successfully setup now. One more question. How do I enable the "STOP" button during Recorded TV Playback. Ideally, I would like it to stop the playback and either give me a Delete option, or take me back to the menu. Thanks again!

If I remember correctly, you need to map the stop button to the "close file" event

There should be a stop, or close file command in that girder gml... isn't there?
