Restarting Sage stops recordings

For whatever reason, sometimes I wish to restart my Sage machine during a recording. If it's nothing important I figure I won't mind missing a couple minutes from it. However once my system is back up, very often the recording does not continue. If I quickly tune to the program it begins recording again.

This seems really "dumb", I mean if I have a power outtage that resets my machine I'll possibly lose important recordings.

Is this normal?

Thanks

I've had recordings continue after a restart, but I don't remember the last time I tried it out. Perhaps continuing the recording depends on how much of the show was recorded previously... or whether it was a manual recording or a fav vs IR... or if it can reschedule the fav for another airing. Now, wasn't that a definitive answer.

More info: This was a favorite recording, there was only ten mins left in the program. Restarted and went to recordings and there was nothing to be found.

possibly that could be the cause... I'm not too concerned about it.

I restarted my sage server while recording two shows at the same time a couple of weeks ago. One of them resumed recording and the other deleted what it had already recorded and recorded another airing of the episode later that night.

I'm guessing if there isn't another airing listed it will resume, if there is it will just reschedule.
