Suddenly not asking for conflict resolution?

My Sage box (2.2.8, Cayars17) has suddenly stopped asking me for conflict resolutions.

I have two tuners. If I am watching a show live and two recordings are pending, Sage now just automatically changes the channel of the tuner that I'm watching. I don't get the conflict resolution pop-up 5 minutes before the scheduled start of recording anymore.

Also, if two favorites are already recording and I try to watch something live, aren't you supposed to get a conflict resolution box asking if you want to cancel one of the current favorites recordings and watch the livetv? Currently, Sage doesn't do anything... I can select "Record Now" on the show info page and it does nothing. Last night I had to delete one of the shows that was recording from my favorites, start watching that show that was recording, manually hit STOP, then select the livetv show that I wanted to watch. Then I immediately went back and re-added the favorite in... Sage automatically changed the channel about two minutes later back to record that favorite!!!

Basically, it seems like conflict resolution has gone haywire... favorites have absolute priority over livetv. Any suggestions?

I just tried with the default STV and when I try to watch livetv while two shows are already recording it says:

There was an error playing the selection of:
ERROR (-8): User rejected conflict resolution
options for playback request

As far as I know, the STV can only respond to the core program noticing a conflict. If the problem is occurring with an unmodified OriginalV2.stv, I would check with tech support to see if they have any ideas.

You could always try completely reconfiguring by getting rid of sage.properties & its autobackup (after saving copies, of course) or by completely reinstalling SageTV, but I have no idea if either of those will fix it.

Thanks, opus. I will try the reconfig as a last resort and then contact tech support. I did a search on this issue, and it seems like a couple of people have had it, but with no clear solution.
