audio sync problem
I am using the latest software (2.2.8) and am experiencing a slight (but annoying) audio sync problem. It may have been there for some time and I just did not notice it. Now that I am aware of it, it really bothers.
Where do I look for the problem? Thanks,

I am experiencing the same issue
I have been using sage since 2.0, and I have upgraded to may betas along the way. The last one I was using was 2.6, and it was running pretty stable until sage crashed/hung one day forcing me to hard reboot. Apart from that, it had been working great, but since I was going to have to resetup anyway after the crash, I decided to upgrade to 2.8. Now after watching tv for a while, the audio will sometimes get out of sync. Even stranger, the video will occasionally freeze while the audio is running, and then speed up to resync with the audio. When the audio gets out of sync, I can just skip back 10 seconds, and that usually fixes the problem. Occasionally, I have to close the file and launch it again. Really annoying.
I am using nvDVD, but I have sage set to use "default" for the video codec. I am using overlay. The audio codec is also set to default. Not sure if this is relevant, but I also upgraded to the latest java version before installing 2.8. |

Try this. Uninstall the latest Java and delete its directory. Uninstall Sage. Reinstall Sage and let it install the java that comes with it. (1.4.6 I think. It will start to install at the end of the Sage install.) See if that helps.
