2.2.8 install problem...
Dialog box...
Fatal Error Installation ended prematurely because of an errorHappens right after the Wise install screen says it's unpacking the files. File size: 30.5 MB (32,049,152 bytes) File version: 2.2.8.0 Java Version 1.5.0 (build 1.5.0_02-b09) (reports as latest according to Java's updater) Happens regardless if the SageTV folder or the 'Frey Technologies' folder is present or not.

Perhaps the file didn't download properly? Have you tried downloading it again?

Has anyone else downloaded the installer & had a similar problem recently? If so, perhaps there is a problem with the file being downloaded. If the source file is OK, I don't know what would cause that error. Either way, you might want to contact tech support to see what they have to say.

Just did the move from 2.2.7 to 2.2.8 over the weekend with a file downloaded on May 6 without any problems.
