Old problem came back..why?
I'm looking for two things, the technical reason why this may be happening as well as the link to the fix. I searched using several keywords, but found not what I was looking for.
I fixed this problem once before with a link someone sent me, but I can not find it now. I have not changed anything (except down load a few windows updates) for over 6 months. I have a smooth running SAGE box, but now I can't play a SINGLE MP3 file. (Attempting to play one shuts down SAGE completely with an error, even though they are all listed and found.) The secong glitch is now the weather suit has stopped working. I get a "failed....." error. These two use to work before.  I went as far as to screw up some settings and my etire screen went BLACK! Since I couldn't fix it, I had to uninstall 2.2.5 and so while I was there, I installed 2.2.8 on top of it. Everything is fine, but the same two problems persist. I will keep searching, but could someone please lend me a hand in what I'm missing or what changed to cause this? Thank You.

As for the weather suite, did it came with a STV or did you added it yourself? As a note, I use Cayars STV and the local weather module never works for me, it always complains about the "GetWeatherJava.exe" error, but the weather suite one works just fine.

Sounds like it could be your java installation. Auto updates can screw you up, and/or sometimes it gets corrupted. Check your java directory, and check the lib/ext inside. Worst case, try reinstalling java and putting whatever needs to be in lib/ext again.
