A fix for remote desktop Playbackexception: ERROR -5,0x80040256
Using remote desktop onto an XP machine running Sage I got
"There was an error in playback Details Sage.Playbackexception: ERROR -5,0x80040256 There was a problem in rendering the audio portion of the content of the playback" It also caused Video Redo to hang. Working locally on the SagePC with Sage/Video Redo was fine. The cause was a setting in remote desktop. Local resources tab, Remote computer sound was set to "Do not play" changing it to "Leave at remote computer/Bring to this computer" fixed the problem. Hope that helps someone.
