Which hard drive to use?

I just bought a 74GB SATA 10,000 rpm raptor. I'm currently using a 7,200 rpm 160 GB SATA drive for my main drive.

Would it be better to have the fast drive for my OS or for my recordings/dvr usage?

It's size over speed for data drives IMHO but both would be more than adequate speed-wise for either. Are you having performance issues to the point where you think your HD is the bottle-neck?
