What happened to this forum and sage?

I used to log on here multiple times a day and I couldn't keep up with all the new posts and new stv's and betas now I log on once a week or so and it takes a few minutes to read new posts and no new stvs or updates. Is sage dying?

My bet is that it's a lull before the launch of 3.0's beta. I'm sure there's a lot going on right now that isn't being posted about because no one (very few) people are having issues.

Is it such a shame that people are actually watching TV and not tinkering?

LOL. that's the way i've been feeling ever since long ago i have sagetv working the way that i'm happy with. tinkering and tweaking is fine, but after a while, it is certainly a whole lot better to be watching TV when it's all working.

True, I haven't even bothered upgrading to 2.28. Downloaded it when first released but why? If it ain't broke don't fix it!

For me, it works. It's that simple. Are there things I'd like to see added? Sure, but overall, I'm really happy...

Pretty much the same here. I mean, sure there are the occasional glitches, but it just works right now. After adding a third tuner I find that there's too much stuff for me to watch to keep tinkering with it.

I'm still waiting for the Linux stuff, and wishfully hoping for a Mac OS X offering of some sort, but til then I'm happy.

So, the buzz might be cooling off a bit. Personally, I couldn't care less. I have something now that I'm quite happy with - switched over from BTV about a month ago.

Yeah things have slowed down but sage is working just fine so it doesn't bother me. the only resolution I need to getting sage to work with my serial dtv boxes cause 2 boxes use the new command set and the 2 other boxes use the old command set. Other than that I'm happy I switched from BTV, it's been 5 months since I've been BTV free(sounds like an AA meeting).

Hm, with all these happy customers they're lacking publicity. Maybe they should release studio to bring back all the fuzz.
