Explorer consumes 100% CPU when opening

Hi,

Was hoping that someone had heard of this problem (Win XP, with all updates):

After recording an hour or two of video with SageRecorder, if I try to open the file with Media Player (8 and 9 act the same), the explorer.exe process gobbles the CPU at 100%. If I kill it, the movie plays fine. Even if I reboot, as soon as I open the folder where the movies are stored, explorer.exe goes to 100% ...

Maybe I should just use SageRecoredr for playback as well.

Another question: Can I legally install the program on more than one PC (for playback purposes?)

Thanks,

Bob

I've seen that problem too with explorer. I think it fixed itself when I disabled RealPlayer....it used to happen on a new XP machine from Compaq that I have. I think it had to do with it also being in the thumbnail view and Explorer was trying to get a thumbnail from the MPEG file.....something weird at least.

For each machine you install SageRecorder on, you need to have a license key.
