Stop Live TV from starting
Is there a way to stop live TV from starting every time I start SageTV. If I go to the guide it starts playing the last channel in the corner automatically. In order for my TV to display the guide I can't have any video playing or it takes over full screen. Same happens if I would go to recorded TV first it will play live TV in the corner. Thanks for anyone's help.

Use the Options command on almost any menu to open the Video Menu Options & chnage the Display Video on Menus to something other than Always. See p. 137 in the v2.2 manual for a description of the options for that pop-up menu.

[QUOTE=wrewing73In order for my TV to display the guide I can't have any video playing or it takes over full screen.[/QUOTE]Apart from the setting Opus mentioned, some video cards have a 'feature' whereby whenever video is played back, it is displayed full-screen on TV-out, and all the rest of your desktop windows are hidden, thus removing SageTV from your display. It sounds like you have this feature enabled -- check your vid card display settings for 'theatre mode' or 'full screen overlay' and disable it
