Volume control at Spdif out
Hi guys,
I've just plug my rig to my receiver to run STV but the STV volume control dosn't work with spdif out. Found out that wave out at windows volume control works with spdif out but STV volume control is link to master volume which doesn't. I don't want to control the volume by my receiver which need separate remote. Is there anyway that I can configure STV volume to work with wave out volume control? or is there any other setting that could make the windows master volume control to work with spdif out? |

insomniac, how do you live with that at this moment? seems like nothing could be done within STV right? My another option is to use Girder instead of the hauppage IR. need to map the volume button to work simultaneously with both sagetv volume and wave out on windows........ i'll try this later.

my problem is probably slightly more unique. I have a pvr350 in hardware mode which I used to take the out from the 350 into my motherboards onboard sound, then use the spdif out on my mobo to my receiver. This used to work just fine in sage v2. Unfortunately, now I cant even get my spdif to output anything, and was forced to use my mobos analog outs until I can figure out some sort of resolution...
