Problem with 3.0.5 and Favourites

Hi,

I have a sports show which I want so set as a favourite, but have a problem:

It is aired each Saturday, first half from 6:10pm to 6:50pm, then news from 6:50 to 6:52 and then the second half from 6:52 to 7:45.
The problem is the news block in between, the show is split in two halfes, the name of the show is the same.
When I create the favourite I use the advanced option "limit to hour 6pm", because there are other airings of that show the day I do NOT want to record.
When I check "Additional Airings" I see the two halfes and if I check the live guide the two halfes have a white border.
But... when I check upcoming recordings, only the second half is mentioned and indeed only the second half is recorded.

Did I make myself clear?
Any suggestions? Is this a bug which I should submit?

Oliver

What are the EPGIDs (shown in detailed setup) of the 2 halfs? If they are the same, Sage may be thinking that one is a repeat of the other and only scheduling to record one of them (perhaps due to conflicts with other recordings)...

1.
The PEGIDs are different: EP974f7fd0 and EP23d77d1d

2.
I configured the favourite to record first airings and repetitions.

3.
There are no conflicts, the padding is set to 0 minutes.

Edit:
Well, actually SageTV shows a conflict, but I don't understand it:

"Sportschau" um Sat, Aug 13 6:52 PM auf 1 ARD from Favorite Sportschau ARD Saturday 6PM"

Note: My menus are partially in German, just in case you ask yourself...

Sportschau is the title, 1 ARD is the channel.

What does it say it is conflicting with if you select the conflict? It should list some options regarding which conlifcting show(s) you want to record instead.

And, you are certain there is no start or stop padding? With a 2 minute show in-between, it would be easy for the padding to overlap.

I would be tempted to make it a 7PM favorite & add about an hour of start padding to make it all one recording. (It is supposed to catch a show where any part of it airs during the hour specified.)

This means that the show Sportschau on Sat, Aug 13 6:52 PM on 1/ARD which would normally be recorded for the favorite 'Sportschau' limited to channel ARD limited to Saturdays at 6PM will not be recorded because it confilicts with something else (selected it to see what, and for resolution options)..

The webserver's conflict screen is a little better at showing what the conflicting programs are

Arghh... that was it!
I had a 5 min. start padding on the first half, 0 min stop padding.
But the start padding goes for the second half also....
Problem solved, thanks!
