Help with comskip

I downloaded the Comskip Varient from malores thread and I can't seem to get it to detect commercials in any of my videos. Here is my setup.

Hauppauge PVR-150
SageTV v2.2
Cayars 18E

Overall comskip seems to be working (it reports back to cayars with the duration it took for comskip) it just doesn't detect any commercials.

Is there something I need to change in the comskip.ini since im using the comskip varient files?

Maybe im doing something totally wrong because i'm new to the commercial skip stuff.
