newbie question: difference between MCE and non-MCE PVR tuners from Hauppauge

I see that there are two versions of the PVR150: an MCE version and a retail version. Are there any differences between the two of these that I should be concerned with? Shouldn't they both work the same with XP Pro? Do they both come with IR Blasters?

I have the PVR:150. The MCE edition does not include a remote or an ir blaster (from what I understand) and the non MCE does include these.

What about the MCE500? I have looked and I can't find any information about an IR blaster with the MCE500 and I can't even find that there is indeed a retail version of the 500. Do either the MCE500 or 500 (if it exists) come with an IR Blaster?

Thanks.

Hauppauge PVR Product Comparison

There is no non-MCE 500 & no MCE PVR products come with a remote or blaster.
