No problem 1080i .ts, stuttering 720p

Dear Sage Sages,

I am attempting to play HD transport streams recorded by my MyHD MDP-120 via Sage 3.08, using NVidia decoders. I am bringing them into Sage via the "Imports" menu. 1080i streams play perfectly smoothly. 720p recordings from ABC stutter to the point of complete playback failure.

Are 720p transport streams working for anyone? Is this an interlacing issue potentially, a conflict between Sage's settings to de-interlace and the content already being flagged progressive? I am not able to add a native BDA HD card anytime soon, so I'd like to get this working.

My system is a P4 3.2ghz, ATI 9600 XT, MyHD MDP-120 w/DVI daughter card, DVI video out, SPDIF audio out from a M-Audio Revo 7.1. The display is a Sony VPL-HS20.

The machine plays both types of files smoothly using TheaterTek with the same decoder setup.

Thanks in advance!
