double channels

I live in Albuquerque, NM and Comcast just changed their line up here. My EPG is now shows two stations on one channel. ex channel 10 has TNT and fox sports listed. TNT is the old channel and fox the new. it shows that I have two channel 10's. I realized this when the wrong shows started being recorded. It's still trying to record from the old channels not the new. I'm assuming the software is confused or something from the double channels.

Things I tried:
deleting the tuner source and then re-adding it.
deleting the tuner source and then re-adding it with a different zip code (that has the same line up).

Any help would be much welcome.

Thanks,
Ryan

Just updating my post. I tried what TheraEdge had suggested and after several times of remapping and backing out and going back and remapping a few more channels all is ok. It's seems to be working fine for now.

You should contact SageTV directly to ask them to look into EPG issues. (here's an old post w/a contact link) It sounds like the lineup change isn't being reflected in the guide dta that gets downloaded.

For now, perhaps you could use the Remap option in Channel Setup and/or disable channels that aren't where they belong. For example: is TNT also listed at its correct channel number? If not, remap the existing old one to the number it should be. If TNT is listed twice, disable the duplicate/old one.

Yep, same problem here. I am using the beta 3 software though, although I believe the problem started back when I still had the real release installed. The adding or removing the channel does not work because the EPG actually lists both channels one right after the other in 2 places. So when I try to disable the erroneous one that says it is tied to that channel, it also deactivates the correct one, I assume because it is just programmed to deactivate the channel number. Then when I tried to remap one of the wrong channels to the correct number, I found I could disable the remapped one independent of the channel it says it is tied to. The problem this time however, is that now it ties itself to the other channel and deactivates th now correct lineup tat was on that channel, so the channels seem impossible to keep from referencing each other.

Oop, OK, hang on, this is weird, after futzing with those and coming back to it, it looks like it might have resolved it. They still displayed the same as when I had come in when I was leaving, but after coming back in, they were straightened out...maybe I will get the right shows recorded now...

Hope this helps mryan1 out maybe...not sure what I did man, but my guess is futzing with those channels got the program guide to update correctly and fix itself for some reason. OK, sorted it out with TBS and ESPN2 you need to remap to the correct channel I think then exit the channel setup back to the source details, wait a bit for it to update and go back in, and it should be straightened out...I would have thought the remap would take effect immediately, but it seems you have to go out and come back in.

This is funny though, I have ESPN classic on one channel with the Golf Channel listed also, and it is actually allowing me to disable them separate from each other. It doesn't want to clear out the golf channel, which I think we lost from the program line up.

I've just emailed info@freytechnologies.com informing them of the channel lineup changes in the ABQ, NM area. Below is the Channel lineup. I hope that SageTV corrects the linueup...unless they do I can't purchase it.

Well that is the beauty of being able to modify the channel line up...even if the line up isn't perfect you are able to modify it so you get all the channels that you recieve set up. It isn't dependent on if they had it correct or not.
