Windows 2003 Server-config problem

I am trying to install SageTV on a Windows 2003 Server box and am having problems getting a signal in WinTV or Sage. I have tried multiple drivers for the Card, installed several MPEG-2 Decoders, and tweaked security.

I have the Haupagge PVR-500 card using a Hughes DirecTV satellite box running S-Video into the Card and running my GeForce 5600 to my TV with S-Video.

I have compared setting to a working box running XP Pro. I am wondering what special software, drivers, setup that I need to get it to work with Windows 2003 Server.

Any ideas?

2K3

Sage works wonderfully in Server 2K3. Check to see that you have video acceleration at 'full'. If I remember the default is 50%. This does not work well with direct show...

Also check to see if you have your windows Audio service enabled. Default is off..

I have a PVR-500 running well on Server 2003. I am running the drivers off of the Hauppauge_cd_v25 if that helps. I have found that too many Mpeg2 decoders installed can cause problems. The Nvidia one is particulary fussy. Also make sure that you run the hwclear program when uninstalling and installing PVR-500 drivers.

BTW, if you plan on actually watching Sage it and other HTPC functions on 2003, I recommend checking out this page: http://www.msfn.org/win2k3/.

Thanks everyone! I believe I had several issues, one being drivers, and trying to install WinTV thinking that it was required. I ended up going back to XP Pro and having the same problem before I figured it out. I am not sure I have the energy right now to dump everything and install 2003 Server as I wanted!
