Newbie Network Question

Just getting started. I have a 3 tuner system en route that will be dedicated to HTPC and hooked up to my main TV. I want to install an additional WinTV-250 and SageRecorder in a second system in another room that will be networked. This will be for occasional recording due to time conflicts, etc. Any programs recorded on this second system will be viewed through the dedicated HTPC and main tv.

My question: Do I care about the quality of the video and sound on the second system? I can get a system with integrated graphics (S1S651) and integrated sound (5.1 capable) thereby leaving available slots that I can use for the 250.

Thanks for your help

The encoding will be performed by the PVR-250, so the only important parts of the system are the network interface (100BaseT or faster) and the hard drive (formatted for 64K blocks to minimize fragmentation). Everything else (CPU included) are only important when you want to play back on that PC.
