newbie Question... xml program tags??

Hi Everyone,

I have read in the forums about XML tags on program recordings in some of the sage custom add ons.

I "believe" this is so that you can export shows, edit, move to another folder etc and still have program info.

Is that right? How does it work and what do I need to do make it happen?


For instance, I record a season of Stargate SG1, want to set up a folder just for those shows either in imported videos or make a new directory. I would prefer to shrink the shows with divx as well.

How do I tag the shows with xml?

Can I edit and change format and will the xml stay with it?

I know some of the custom STVs can do things like this, but how?
