TVTV Channel lists

Hi all,

The inclusion of the tvtv.* EPG information is fantastic. Great job!

I was wondering though, if the channel setup will be changed before release of V3. Us Europeans now get a huge list of channels, and it is a painful procedure to pick the right ones

Cheers,

ok, i managed to activate a new trial account, but now my channel list gets swamped with channels called "654- - " and so on. Something went wrong, and new channels are added every second. Most of the channel names are gone.

I had hoped it would work with the new beta.

Well, it does load a bucket full of channels, but it does not keep going. Rough estimate is that I get about 120 channels.

However, only three channels get filled with info in the EPG. Now that's strange. I would like to reload all EPG info. Does anyone know how to do that?

Hi,

My XMLTV grabber has stopped working... the site I was grabbing has changed something but I don't know what...
So TVTV is welcome ;-).
I have an account on TVTV.fr but Sage says it's not valid (and it's not listed in the PVR I can use)
Wich host did you use to acitvate the service. I can't activate the trial.

Thanks for your help

Ferdinand

I used the .nl one. But I did not start a trial; I figured for 20 euros per year I'd just get an account. I did have some trial issues before that, though. So your problems might be fixed if you bite the bullet and get a real account.
Of course, I'm just telling you what worked for me!

BTW: don't forget to file bug reports on any tvtv related issues... that's part of the beta too. From what I understand, this is a new style of service via tvtv, so there could be things to work out on either side.

Mark what is working for you. Do you get detailed information for your complete lineup or just a few channels. And is the time correct or 2 hours off.

Opus is there any change in the plugin in the current beta and the previous ones

I don't know for sure if anything was changed regarding tvtv in the latest beta, but I don't think there were any changes.

Unfortunately, I don't. But I did have that same problem initially. I think you might have better luck if you use a tvtv ID that has not yet been used for a trial account.

I get only a few channels. I have not really tried the time offset problem yet, since I have a concurrent problem with tvout that takes away most of my time.

I will let you know tonight after I get home. Remind me if I forget

I did not forget. But it turns out that after my most recent reinstall, I selected only Dutch channels, of which none are filled in the EPG!
So, maybe only certain channels get imported? I am not sure if this is consistent.

If not, I will.

Mark thanks for trying but it looks like the problem with tvtv is still the same, i hoped maybe you got it working.

People of sage i am willing to test any patch you make for tvtv, i have a spare computer with a old pvr 250 so it won't be a problem if it messed up the computer. I am probably in a better position to check the epg data for faults like the 2 hours off living in europe.

Are there any news regarding the offset (2 hours) problem for european users?

Another little thing is that there are probably some channels missing.
For example there is a new channel called "DAS VIERTE" in Germany. I never get this channel shown in the channel list that is called automatically.

But the main problem is the time zone prob.

Best regards,
Marc

With V3.14RC3, tvtv problem seems to be not solved yet.
Did someone succeed with this version?
