Question Need help to recover a damaged file

My recorder locked up the other night about 2 minutes shy of completing a recording. The file is on the drive (2.4 gig) but it must be missing the end of file markers because I can't play it with any software and most programs just go into and endless loading routine when attempting to play it. Does anyone know of a way to repair this file? It would be helpful to see the 58 minutes worth at least if it can be salvaged.

Thanks
Jeff

I haven't personally tried any of these and there's no way to know for sure if they can fix whatever's wrong/missing with your particular file, but this is a good resource area for Video Help . There's a few suggestions and links to utilities in that section on repairing mpeg files.
