Finally set up again!

I will first admit that the only reason I built my first HTPC was MythTV. I could see what it could do and I was hooked. After dozens of failed attempts to set it up, I found SageTV and made my purchase. After that my setup was a breeze, and with a A7V8X and a PVR350 I was all set up. It didn't take long for me to fill a 200GB HD(Music, Movies, Everything on Sci-Fi) so something had to be done. I was lucky enough to find 4 250GB SATA HD's for 99 each a few months back. I got them, along with a Highpoint RocketRaid 1640 card. Much to my dismay, the HighPoint would stop the PVR350 from working. This blew me over the edge with how much time/effort/money had gone into it. About a week ago, I gave it all a go once again. This time, I did research into what I was getting.

Lascala Case - Hands down BEST HTPC Case(if you need room for 5 hard drives)
EPoX 8RDA3+ Pro (Never went EPoX before, never going back)
Sempron 2300+
512MB PC2700
4x Maxtor 250GB SATA ( 5 yr Warranty )
1x Maxtor 200GB IDE
1x PVR500 ( 1 more to install when I get the new cable boxes )
1x PVR350
1x Chaintech AV710
1x Addonics 114 4 Port SATA PCI Raid Card (0,1,10)
Thermaltake Purepower 420W PSU
GF440MX

After I got all that stuff in, I spent about 3 hours tearing everything apart, and adding variable control fans. Everything set as low as could go would result in ZERO sound and temps only rose(after 1 hr in entertainment center) 5c. Fans set to max would result in sound only audible when TV was off, and temps were nice and low. Can't wait to fill this setup up!

Nice system. I will take a look at that Lascala Case. Are you thinking about throwing in a HD tuner card some day ?

I would love to have HD, but the only HDTV in the house has been forbidden from my messing with.
