Newbie needs help please

HI all;

I am new to Sage and I am having difficulty. I am running a server under 2 week demo and a client under demo. I would like to get this to work before buying.

My server is as follows
PVR-500 card on server with a USB-UIRT
STREAMZAP remote
input one 921 Satellite receiver and input 2 has extenal camera inputs

My client machine
STREAMZAP remote, IR receiver I also have another UIRT if I need it.

My problem

I have looked in many many posts and I don't see this covered, and what I can find just it not working.

How do you from the network client machine change channels on the devices that are connected to the server? I have configured UIRT with all the commands from my regular remote for 0-9. I have tried to specify special commands under link to sage custom 1 - 4 as tests.

Whenever I press my remote button at Sage client station in another room, I cannot get the UIRT to ommit a signal at the server to the satellite converter that is connected the the pvr-500. It just does nothing. This is really frustrating.

I have read the documentation, forums, Now I need some input from a Sage GURU. Please share your knowledge.

I am kind of slow I guess. Is there possible a plug in that I could be missing? If anyone can post an example on how this is suppose to work, I would greatly appreciate it.

You have the usb-uirt connected to the server with the IR blaster setup and everything works properly if you use the remote at the server?

Do you have a receiver for the client or some sort of remote extender to transmit the signal to the usb-uirt that's connected to the server?

I think I might have figured it out. I notice that the commands that I am programming are for the STREMZAP remote. How do you program more buttons than just 0-9?
