Hmm ... with v.2 I changed the background, text and menu highlight bar to my liking without a hitch ... I will say that on certain screens (i.e. Detailed Setup) on the left side highlight bars do remain the same as default) but I can live with that.

So, can I still do that with v.3 ... See attachments ...

Thanks, T.

All the font properties should still be the same, with a couple new ones -- I'm just saying that you can't get rid of the silver highlight buttons, for example on the right side of that Detailed Setup image of yours. If you haven't seen v3, then you may not know those buttons have changed (you can download the PDF manual for screen shots). In v2, selectable items were just 'there' & highlighted when in focus, in v3, they are outlined (so you know which things can be selected) & then highlighted w/the new silverish style buttons when in focus.

As I said above, you can change the buttons that are based on graphic images, but you will want any new images to keep the light background motif or else the black text w/light shadow will be very hard to read.

Ahh ... Yes ... I see ... I can live with silver buttons, or even deal with light button color selection ... as long as I can still do all the rest.

Sounds like a good deal to me ...

Thanks again ... T.

Different Backgrounds for Different Menu

I dont know if people realize but since we have studio now, it is possible to hard code a different background for every screen. So you can have a background specific to the Music Part, a background just for TV, a background for Setup, etc.

For one thing, it will just be a little bit more colorful, but for another, you might get a bit of an organizational advantage by color coding screens together...just make it asthetically more pleasing. So, since I suck at graphics, I was wondering if someone would want to look into this. Of course, if you are really brave, you can look into some animation possibilities (its in Studio) but that can come later.

For now, just looking for some backgrounds of various colors maybe with some titles down the sides kind of like what SageMC has. A very small thing that I think will freshen up some of the "boring" stv's.

Either from an Audi web site or an Olympic web page?

Nope... It's the Sony Vaio's Media Center 2005 background. I removed the Vaio logo and change brightness/contrast.

No problem. will return home in a few days and then will post bars. All that is needed to do is in the V3 STV, save the long and short highlight bar PNG files to another folder as a backup and then overwrite mine into the V3 STV. Reboot and they should be available.

EDIT: Have placed the files in the new customization folder under Images. Link: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/down...hp?do=cat&id=4
