Favorites with generic channel info
Sometimes, there is a favorite with one of those generic information, with the same ShowID. I know these are different shows/episodes but sometimes I guess EPG is too lazy to update that info.
The end result is that these are not recorded although I know that they are different shows/episodes. Is there any way to have these shows to record? I have looked at the Favorite FAQ and also tried removing and re-adding the Favorite, with no success. Thanks for any help.

Usually, all generic ShowID episodes are recorded, but it turns out that SageTV does some sort of processing to detect when it thinks the shows are the same episode & then doesn't record more than one of them.
The latest v3 beta (RC2) has a new option in Detailed Setup -> Customize to tell SageTV whether to try to detect such repeat airings. To make it record ALL such episodes, you would turn that option off. - Andy
