Okay, I convinced Irfan to fix the PNG bug in IrfanView. It's surprising that so many people missed this bug! For some reason Irfanview produced PNG's with transparencies that only worked correctly in web browsers and not in SageTV nor in Photoshop. I wouldn't have started this thread in the first place if it weren't for this bug (since Irfanview was the first thing I tried before starting this thread).

Uh, should I made it soon, it will be in IrfanView 3.98 ;-)

The current IrfanView version is 3.97
