Can't get the recoreder to record
I am new to This program. Have been using Windonws mc and wanted somthing different. I set it up and everything has been smooth. My only issue is If I hit record it lights up red and all is well. Then hit record again and it acts like it stopped recording. Then I will change the channel and start recording a second thing just to test it out and the first thing I recorded is not there. The only thing that shows as recording is the thing I just started, I am a little confused on how the recording proccess works or if my hipaugee 250 is not working right. It worked great recording with microsft media center so am not sure,

For a quick suggestion: check out the Quick Start Guide in chapter 2 of the PDF manual in your SageTV dir.
BTW: When you used the Record command twice, you first set it to record, then you cancelled it. - Andy
