Problem: Error in playback

I have a fusion hdtv5 gold plus
FX5600 or a Radeon 7000 series.
MCE w/ rollup2
sagetv (SageTV_V3_0_13RC2Setup)

i have tried both the 3.11 and 3.0.02 fusion drivers

i have tried default and new drivers for both video cards.

i can run the fusion software without a problem, i cannot get the sage to make it through the channel setup.

1) i select the fusion hdtv wdm video capture source
2) if i select composite, svideo, or tv tuner i see a preview
3) if i slected the digital tv tuner and try to see the preview, or if i preview during the channel setup i get a popup error within sage.
there was a capture error in playback.

details:
error(-2,0x80004005): there was a problem using a sagetv component. pelase re-install the sagetv application.

i have tried reinstalling it a few times and redownloaded it once. i cannot get the digital part to work. sorry if this was answered before, i did do a search but didn't see any similar errors directly pertain to what i'm seeing now.

any help would be appriciated.

thanks in advance.

also, i'm new to sagetv, i assume i need to use the latest beta. when i used the SageTVClient_V2_2_8Setup i did not see the digital tuner option. if i'm wrong please let me know. thanks again.

I'm not 100% positive, but I think this might be the audio codec issue. Assuming this is a new setup, and you have nothing to save, uninstall both SageTV and Java. Then install SageTV (which will also reinstall a version of Java that shouldn't cause any issues). Then prior to setting up the tuner, go to Setup, detailed setup and select a different audio codec (I use Intervideo, but use something besides default or Sage).
