Sage & usb uirt retransmitting to my receiver?

Is it possible (through sage) to make the usb-uirt retransmit a signal for stereo receiver? (I'd love to press the volume on my Hauppauge remote and have it actually work.)

If not, is it possible to make sage CHANGE the volume to the reciever? (I use the S/PIF out. It works in media player, but not sage, go figure)

Did you configure SageTV for your audior renderer? I believe that once it knows which renderer you are using (SPDIF), it will be able to manage the volume.

I think it's set for direct show (but I'm not 100% sure)...what's the difference between the 2 types of renderers?
