Status Indicators

RECORDING CONFLICT INDICATOR

I use the Hauppage PVR350 TV Out.

Its very difficult to see whether the exclamation mark is green or red on my TV, so I have to constantly check the status. Can this indicator be made clearer so that its easier to distinguish between a resolved or unresolved conflict?

FULL SCREEN INDICATOR ???

I use question marks because this is not documented in the manual and I cannot test it.

I can't test it is because switching to full screen on my PC monitor has never worked. Is this a PVR350 feature or a Sage bug?

Thanks in advance

I've thought about changing that conflicts-resolved indicator... maybe it can be made inot a check mark or something.

In terms of full-screen... when using the 350's output, the SageTV window will have a fixed size to match its output capabilities, so you can't go full screen.

Hi Opus4

So the other (middle) indicator is the Full Screen toggle then?

If so, can it be disabled for PVR350 users to avoid confusion?

Thanks

The new icon should be in the manual that comes with the latest beta.

It affects more than just the 350 -- any pluging that uses a fixed window size will prevent going full screen, as far as I know. Or, at least it also works that way with the Xcard & MVP plugins.

Excellent idea! It is especially hard to tell if the indicator is red or green on the little TV I have my MVP hooked up to.

EDIT: Check here for an updated resolved conflict icon!
