Problem with Hauppauge 34 Page Down

Hi

For some time now I've been experiencing problems getting the Skip button to work in my PVR250 + Hauppauge 34 button remote configuration.

I stripped and reinstalled my PC last weekend and the Skip button on my Hauppauge 34 button remote was working fine for a while, but no longer.

It's normally mapped to Page Down.

If I go into show command liked to keystroke and press it, it returns Ctrl+ which I doubt is correct.

I've tried mapping it back to Page Down, but with no luck.

Previous works fine by the way, as does using F5 and F6 for Page Up and Page Down manually from the keyboard.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Steve

In the [SageTV] section of your irremote.ini file (in your Windows directory), what is on the line starting with SKIPFWD?

For v4, it should be:
SKIPFWD={ctrl}{f6}

Hi

Those setting were fine, but thanks for directing me.

I've now found the problem, I installed WinDVD yesterday to get the Intervideo audio decoder as I have had problems with the Nvidia AC3 decoder. WinDVD was running a service that attempted to remap the keyboard input.

Thanks

Steve
