Audio Problems
I am using sagetv 4.0, and am having a weird aurdio problem. When i watch live tv, the audio is not synced up with the video. if i rewind the tv, or pause it, the audio continues on while the video rewinds or pauses. I am not really sure why it would do this. has anyone else had a similar problem?? please help

How do you have your audio & video source connected to your computer? It sounds like you put the sound input into the sound card instead of the tuner.
Also: what tuner do you have? That could affect how you should connect things. - Andy

What tuner do you have?
And, how is it connected to your TV source? Do you have it connected to straight cable coax, svideo coming out of a converter box, or what? If you have a Hauppauge (or other) hardware encoder tuner, then like I said above, the sound should go into the tuner card from your source, not into your sound card. - Andy

i have some generic tv tuner. for the program that came with it, windvr 3, i had the sound coming out of the tv tuner and going into the line in on the sound card. there is a coax cable going directly into the tv tuner.

It sounds like the generic tuner you have is probably software encoder card. When configuring it in SageTV, there should be a 2-step process of 1st selecting the video input & then selecting the audio input. If it really is a software encoder & you don't get those 2 screens, then it probably isn't recognized correctly & supported.
