Video & FF/RW losing sync

After upgrading from RC2 to 4.0 I have been having trouble with fast forwarding through large amouts of video.
for example I go to a hockey game which has already started, about 1hr into it. I use the FF2 to move up to the current time. after pressing the FF2 several times, and several times waiting for the sage wait logo to go away. the video will temporarilly freeze, then when it comes back the ff wil not move at the proper rate. the progress bar will still move as normal, 120sec increments. the show will only move a few seconds. if I accept this and try t o ff the rest of the way the progress bar will come to the end before the video does. at that point one of the end of show menu's will come up. if I choose not to delete the show I can press play again and continue watching the show. but if I use either FF or RW the show will automatically go to the point the progress bar reached the end.

I seem to have solved the problem.

I had recently done a clean install of windows on my sage server. I didn't use windows update. I had SP1. I uninstalled Sage, deleted the sage folder in program files (after backing up the files) Updated to SP2. reinstalled sage 4.0. and I was able to FF without seeing the spinning logo once. The software was very responsive. picture quality also seems to be improved. at no point did the video lose sync. I tried this on 2 tv shows and 1 hockey game, all of them worked flawlessly.
