Java Update ??
OK ... I have completed my clean install of SageTV 4 ... Enabled the Unsupported Extras and tweaked a few settings ...
I have noticed the Full Screen Toggle icon at the top right ... When I toggled from full screen I got a pop up from my system tray that Java wanted to be updated to version 1.5.0_05-b05 from the Sage install version 1.4.2_06 ... Do I update or leave well enough alone? Thanks, T.

You can update, I work with the latest version of Java but don't forget to copy the ext directory to the new one. Else, some things won't work...

Thanks All ... I decided to blow off the update ...
Hmmm .... In fact now that I think of it I was getting Java lock-ups every day or two with the 2.2.8 server I was just building before deciding to go to 4.0. I thought it had to do with the fact that I was setting the schedule look ahead to 14 days. I set it to 7 and still got the lock ups. Thinking about it, I remember letting Java update ... I'll bet that was my problem all along!!!  Now I am glad I asked ...
