xcard vip header

is it normal for 2 of the 26 pins to be cut off or missing on the VIP header?
I have 2 rows of 13, but on the first row, the first 2 pins looked to be snipped off. will VIP still work or is this how sigma disabled VIP?

Look HERE for the pin-outs in regards to your VIP header on the XCard. The pic is about 2/3 down the page. If you're looking at the VIP header with the card's output connectors on the left, are the snipped pins on the left or right side? I have read about people re-soldering pins back onto the header and it working afterward just fine.

According to how you described it, it sounds like the GROUND 02 and Ground 04 pins are cut off.

SHS has this on his site:

Pin 01 will be on bottom left

aoehlke sound like go older board that they cut the pin off manual unlike some of new Xcard which did have any pin solder on the board at all where the VIP is fully disable and has all new layout so even sold on the PIN well not help so you should be good sharp you just need have PIN re-solder back on.
Top of card
Left to Rigth
1 > 25
2 > 26
PCI slot
Buttom of card
If your miss PIN 1 and 2 thoses are the pin you must have in order for the VIP to work.
