Hard Drive activity after Sage Sleeps

Please Help,

I use a large CRT Monitor (not a TV) as my display for sage. I use Girder to put sage to sleep and then sends a monitor off command. Unfortunately, about 15 seconds after all this happens the monitor turns itself back on. If I repeat the procedure again, the monitor stays off.

What i have found using the task manager is that after sage sleeps, it still is acessing the Hard Drive and using system resources which appears to be awaking the monitor.

Has anyone experianced this, and are there any solutions?

Marc

Haven't seen this, but you can use the filemon tool from www.sysinternals.org to see what specifically is happening on your hard drive. This might give you an idea on how to proceed.
